Request permanent deletion of your account and associated data
We understand that you may want to delete your Dismusic account. This page explains how to request account deletion and what data will be removed.
⚠️ Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your data, including uploaded music, release history, and account settings.
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your Dismusic account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to dismusicartist@gmail.com
- Include the following information:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Your account name (if different from email)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- Wait for confirmation: We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Email address, name, and profile data
- Music Uploads: All audio files and cover art you've uploaded
- Release History: All your music release records and metadata
- Subscription Data: Your subscription status and payment history
- Analytics Data: Usage statistics and activity logs
- Authentication Data: Login credentials and session tokens
Data Retention Period
📅 Retention Timeline
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated immediately upon request
- 30 Days: All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained for up to 90 days to comply with legal obligations (e.g., financial records for tax purposes)
Data That May Be Retained
For legal and operational reasons, we may retain certain data for a limited period:
- Transaction Records: Financial transaction data may be kept for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted during the next scheduled backup cycle (within 90 days)
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for statistical purposes
Before You Delete
Before requesting account deletion, please consider:
- Download any music files or data you want to keep
- Cancel any active subscriptions to avoid future charges
- Note that deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
- You will need to create a new account if you want to use Dismusic again

If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider these alternatives:
- Deactivate Account: Temporarily disable your account without deleting data
- Update Privacy Settings: Adjust what data we collect and how it's used
